join FINTAGE HOUSE and AKIN GUMP IN supporting filmaid international at the 2017 cannes film festival
All proceeds will support FilmAid International, a humanitarian organization that harnesses the power of film to inform, empower, and inspire refugees around the world. Communities in crisis require information to access much-needed aid, to stand up for their rights as refugees and to navigate their uncertain future. FilmAid supports people suffering the effects of war, poverty, displacement and disaster to ensure that their voices are heard and their struggle is not forgotten. For the last three years FilmAid has been our charity partner and we are proud to raise awareness and some additional funds to support this great cause.
The Promenade de la Croisette, Cannes, France plays host to the Boules Tournament organised by Fintage House and Akin Gump every year. Running for more than a decade, this prestigious event combining the sport of petanque with a relaxed and informal cocktail party, brings over 500 of the film industry's key business players (lawyers, financiers, bankers, producers, sales agents and other dealmakers) together in one location during the Cannes Film Festival.
